About Us and What We Do

About Inter Training Services Limited

Founded in 1996, ITS is an independent learning provider that specialises in hairdressing and we work with high calibre salons in Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.

How does ITS deliver Apprenticeships?

We have a fantastic team of Trainers and Assessors and Learning Support Tutors who visit Apprentices in their workplace. Learning 'on the job' means that Apprentices develop the skills employers want because they experience the demands of working in a professional business environment.

Who is eligible to be an Apprentice with ITS?

You must be 16 or over, eligible to work in England and not in full-time education.A young person can leave school and start an Apprenticeship after the last Friday in June as long as they are 16 by the end of that year's summer holidays. Ideally, you will have passed GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths with a grade A*- D or 9 - 4. You must have completed a 3-month work trial in a salon for a minimum of 30 hours a week before being signed up for an apprenticeship. This is because we want you to be absolutely sure that this apprenticeship is the right choice. During the work trial You will develop useful skills that will help with your apprenticeship and experience what it's like to be on your feet all day, 5 days a week.

Those aged 19 and above must also work a minimum of 30 hours per week in a salon, have worked at the salon for a minimum of 3 months, and their employer will have to contribute towards the training costs.

Why choose ITS?

Team ITS care enormously about the hair industry and truly believe that WORK IS A REAL EDUCATION. ITS has set its sights on building careers and Apprentices have gone on to win coveted awards such as Wella Trend Vision and British Hairdressing Awards, opened their own salons, been chosen to be international ambassadors for leading product companies and become assessors themselves.
