About Inter Training Services Limited
Inter Training Services Limited (ITS Ltd) is a hairdressing training provider operating across Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding counties which offers bespoke apprenticeship schemes to learners between the ages of 16 and 18 years. In addition, ITS Ltd works with schools to provide vocational opportunities at NVQ level 1 for 14 to 16 year-olds, NVQ levels 2 and 3 for those aged 19 and over, and short courses.
Founded in 1996, ITS Ltd is a private limited company owned by Keith and Lesley Ellis who between them, have over 75 years of hairdressing experience ranging from teaching, writing text books, salon and session work. Through their personal expertise and experience, Keith and Lesley were chosen to help work on the first NVQ standards for the UK and their personal commitment to the hair industry alongside the skills of their enthusiastic team ensures that ITS Ltd continues to prosper and is at the forefront of NVQ hair education in the south east.
How do Apprenticeships and NVQs work with ITS Ltd?
ITS Ltd employs a team of qualified NVQ assessors who all possess an excellent understanding and knowledge of the hair industry. These assessors travel to deliver training and assessment against the NVQ standards. This way of learning ensures that apprentices and learners develop an acute understanding of salon life, encountering real salon situations with real clients and real commercial demands resulting in a solid foundation for their chosen career.
Who is eligible to work for an NVQ with ITS Ltd?
ITS Ltd provides vocational training for 14-16 year-olds who are still at school and Heads of schools are invited to approach ITS Ltd for more details. Apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships are for those aged 16-18 years who are in full-time employment in a salon. Those aged 19 and over must also hold a full-time position in a salon.
